Terms and Conditions for the “Win a Sunday Roast for Four at Springbank Manor” Competition

1. Promoter The promoter is Discover Darwen (“Promoter”), in partnership with Springbank Manor, Darwen.

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or older.

• Employees of Discover Darwen or Springbank Manor, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are excluded from entering.

3. How to Enter

• To enter, users must “Like” the official competition post on social media and comment stating their favourite feature of the new Discover Darwen website.

• Multiple entries or spam will not be counted.

• Content Standards: Any comments deemed offensive, derogatory, inappropriate, defamatory, or unlawful by the Promoter will be disqualified immediately and removed. Entries containing such content will not be entered into the prize draw.

4. Competition Period

• The competition opens on the date of publication and closes at 12:00 PM (noon) on 1st September 2026. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

• 1 x winner will be selected at random from all valid and eligible entries on 3rd September 2026.

• The winner will be notified via a reply to their winning comment or via Direct Message (DM) from the official Discover Darwen account.

• Claiming the Prize: The winner must respond to claim their prize within 14 days (2 weeks) of being notified. If the winner does not respond or claim the prize within this 14-day window, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the original winner’s claim and select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

6. Prize Details

• The prize is a Sunday Roast for four (4) people at Springbank Manor, Darwen.

• The prize includes one course per person. Drinks, side dishes not included in the standard roast, and travel to/from the venue are strictly excluded.

• The meal must be pre-booked directly with Springbank Manor, subject to availability.

• The prize voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

• The prize must be redeemed by 1st December 2026.

7. Data Protection & Security

• Any personal data provided by entrants will be used solely for administering this competition and fulfilling the prize.

• Safety Alert: Discover Darwen will NEVER ask for bank details or send external links asking you to register to claim a prize. Entrants should remain vigilant against scam accounts.

8. Liability & Platform Disclaimer

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, or Instagram.

• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the competition at any time in the event of unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.
