An independently owned Victorian manor house offering hotel stays, locally sourced dining, Sunday roasts, weddings and special events in Darwen.
Built in 1898, Springbank Manor is a restored Victorian manor house offering hotel accommodation, dining and events close to the centre of Darwen.
Its characterful rooms, lounges and event spaces provide a relaxed setting for overnight stays, private celebrations and special occasions. The manor also hosts an evolving programme of experiences, from afternoon teas and comedy nights to gin classes and seasonal events.
The Parlour Restaurant serves seasonal food prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with menus changing throughout the year.
Sunday lunch is a particular highlight, with traditional roast options served alongside all the familiar trimmings. Settle in for a relaxed meal with family or friends, add a drink from the bar and let someone else handle the cooking and washing up.
The restaurant also serves lunches and evening meals during the week, while private dining and outdoor tables are available for gatherings and celebrations. Sunday service currently runs from 12pm to 3pm.
Springbank Manor hosts everything from intimate ceremonies to full-day and twilight weddings, with a collection of rooms and outdoor spaces available across the property.
Couples can choose from smaller celebrations for close family and friends through to receptions for as many as 250 evening guests. Packages can include locally sourced dining, drinks, evening food, accommodation and support from a dedicated wedding coordinator.
The independently owned team encourages couples to make the day their own, with dog-friendly weddings, menu personalisation, exclusive-use options and several licensed ceremony spaces available.
